Using her sophisticated knowledge of these multiple mediums, she combines traditional techniques in graphite, watercolor, and collage with modern digital touches using Photoshop and Correl painter. She believes this process best encapsulates her personal philosophy of building upon the old to create the new. “We are a combination of past and present, what came before us and what is. Art should reflect that story in its process. It should show creation through progressing and the intertwining of our complex past.” Her style, although clearly having influences by her inspirations, has a unique quality to it.
