Twin Towers Management & Music Publishing team is owned by Lazaro “Laz” Ruiz and Mario “Rio” Ruiz, twin brothers born in Miami, Florida to Cuban parents. At an early age they influenced by their Cuban musical heritage, the twins were involved in many music ventures, including marching bands and Latin jazz band. As they got older, the Laz and Rio would switch their focus from playing music to marketing, promotions and event planning for themselves and other artists. After establishing relationships with venues, promoters, producers, artist, and songwriters, they began working at Chubby Greens Entertainment in the marketing and promotion department. They managed all the promo and marketing for a couple of the artist on the roster. From there, they started promoting events and hosting with Mike B from BMB Events and Fire and Ice and Nightlife Entertainment. Soon after, they were hired by producer/songwriter Blake Jones of Igknyteable Production and Essom Jweinat of Mohip Production. In 2007, they opened Twin Towers Management Publishing with the mission to give the San Francisco Bay Area a viable entertainment entity by developing, educating, and exploiting undiscovered talent. Once Twin Towers Management Publishing began, Laz decided to attend San Francisco State University’s Music Recording Industry (MRI) program. This program allowed Laz to be guided by industry professionals such as; Gian Fiero, a consultant who is best known for writing commercial music reviews and producing the renowned Muse’s Muse Awards; Larry Batiste, songwriter and board member of the Grammy’s; Kerry Fiero, owner of Strive Management and director of NARIP; and Marc Greenberg, an entertainment attorney who has had, among many others, clients such as 2Pac and Aerosmith. The company has also recruited amazing talent such as Kristin Ray who joined Twin Towers Management in 2007 as the Executive Administrative Assistant and Event Planning Manager. Rio bring his financial and consulting expertise from a heavy Real Estate and Credit Consulting business In which he was the investment consultant and Branch Manager at California Credit Solutions. Kristin has many years of organizational, administrative and entertainment event planning experience along with extensive knowledge in writing professional business plans. She attended the University of Hawaii to pursue her Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology. While continuing to expand her knowledge and skill set, Kristin most recently completed a certification program from San Francisco’s Women’s Initiative in January 2009. In 2008, Twin Towers Management went into partnership to start up The Beat Doctors, which is a music hub for established and up incoming Beat Makers and Producers to exploit their catalogs. Now it’s 2010 and Twin Towers has open a Hip-Hop/Rap division managed by Mario Ruiz and also an Alternative/Pop/R&B division managed by Laz Ruiz.
